At about 10:00 we took notes on our body systems. The body systems that
people could choose were the nervous system, the circulatory system, the
digestive system, the respiratory system, or the muscular/skeletal system.
During math time we had a worksheet on double-digits times double-
digits. 87
X54
4698
In reading class, we reread "This is our World, Too!" It was about
two kids: Justin Lebo and Dwaina Brooks. Justin made bikes for the poor and the
ill. Dwaina made sandwiches for the poor people in the homeless shelter. Then
we had to do a worksheet on the story.
Today for specials we had Gym, and we started our volleyball unit. First,
we learned the setting position. Then we tried to keep the volleyball in the air for
as long as we could. Then we got partnered up and we would toss it to one
person and they would hit it back to us.
During band time I was in band with Julie, Kortney, Brian, Alec, and
Kassidy. We were playing violins and cellos. We played Morning Dance, Rolling
Along (Mary had a Little Lamb), and Good King Wenceslas. Then we did some
bow action too.
In Social Studies we read a USA Studies Weekly about Europeans and
Indians. It was also about the songs of the Kiowa Indian tribe. Then, we had to
do a worksheet with questions and a crossword puzzle.
Finally, we did Current Events. We read a Time For Kids magazine, and
we did a worksheet on it.

In today's science news Deputy Sehl came in to help with DARE, Define-Assess-Respond-
Evaluate. What we learned today was that now Marijuana is used in medicines, but a doctor has to
approve of it. Sehl said "Marijuana is addicting like cigarettes" so stay away from pot!
Next in math there was stamping and grading. Afterwards we did a multiplication worksheet
with large numbers. It was weird because it was multiplication and adding.
During reading we got out our reading books and read It's Our World Too. Justin and Awaina
decided to change the world by giving food to the poor and rebuilding bikes for the poor. I think these
people are really great.
When that was over we hurried to specials! Today we had new songs to learn. The new songs
are for our recorders. We sounded really good when we played It's Raining It's Pouring!
In current events: We went to tech lab and studied the systems in your body. Such as
respiratory system, circulatory system, digestive system, and nervous system. Our bodies are very busy!
And finally, in social studies, we worked hard to complete our Native American projects.
That is all for now, I'm Dillan for MRE Action News Good Night America!

Social Studies: Today is almost the last day to get everything done. We have to complete everything by tomorrow.
We have four things to get done. I’m almost done with everything that we need to get done.
The good thing is we get to use laptops or c. o. w. s. 9:00 - 9:45 am.
Science: Following social studies we have science. We’ve learned about the human body.
We’ve learned about the Respiratory, Circulatory, Digestive, and the Nervous system. Later on this year we will have a project to do.
Science is around 9:45—10:30 am.
Language Arts: In Language Arts we caught up on our work. Kind of like current events.
We all have language arts in the morning. Well around 10:00— 11:05am.
On Monday and Wednesday Language Arts is also band time too.
Current Events: This is where we have a chance to finish work. We tried to finish social studies. We used the laptops in this class too.
Well that’s kind of all we do in current events.
Specials: In specials we walked for ten minutes . We also heard letters from some veterans. I’m glad we wrote to our country's veterans.
We all had a chance to thank them for serving our country. They risked their lives for us, so thank you.
Reading: we read level books today in reading. There was also a paper with a few questions we had to do too. Luckily I got done with it.
Reading starts around 2:00pm. Reading starts after lunch and recess. 2:05—2:55pm.
Math: Math starts at 2:55pm. Math is our last subject of the day. Unless we have little buddy's, then it’s in the morning.
Most of our homework comes from math class. We did a review of times today in Math.
I asked a couple of kids and mammals, What their favorite subject that Mrs. Lykowski teaches?
Oran : said he liked all of them.
Bryan : said that he liked them all too.
Brad : said he liked reading best.
Oreo: no comment.
